Major Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Electricity Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in the region
The country's power facilities have faced escalating strikes in recent weeks

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were wounded while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered disruption to drinking water, as stated by municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was killed in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while the country's government has demanded "substantial measures" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the US, the EU and the G7 - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing penalties," he wrote in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and residential structures in Kyiv.

Multiple people injured in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.

Local officials said the urban area endured heavy assaults overnight. A young boy lost their life and three other people were wounded.

The assaults succeed periods of aerial attacks in the region, parts of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The entire country is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to spot.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

He said technical personnel and officials were anticipating additional strikes.
